FEB 2, 1-4PM FIBER COLLAGE WORKSHOP w/ Janis Updike Walker - Too often creatives who work with cloth and other materials are dismissed as producing mere “crafts.” Yet in the contemporary world, work in fine fibers, joined with other found objects, can be elevated to “High Art Craft.” Join Janis Updike Walker in an afternoon playing with textiles to tell a unique story. Sparked by your imagination, learn to assemble your individual expression. Janis will guide you in composition then allow time for fashioning your individual design. At the end, you will be on your way to creating your own fiber art collage.
