- an immersive performance experience that explores the evolution of written language from the beginnings of Western alphabets to predictive text and beyond. Abaca paper and bamboo sculptures by Steve Liggett are brought to life by dancers directed by Alicia Chesser, with projections by Zach Litwack and Chris Sker and lighting by Logan Sours, in an evening that incorporates the somatic origins of writing, sound play, visual rhymes, and the generative jumble through which communication emerges, fractures, adapts, and unfolds.  Also, the Portals Installation that is part of the experience was a collaboration between Pam Hodges and Steve Liggett.

Part of the Myths & Legends Project - with support from Ken & Amanda Lawrence and an anonymous donor.
